At 139, Blgharia East, Shri Subhas Chakraborty (CPI(M)), State Transport Minister is locked in a six cornered contest. Shri Surya Mihra CPI(M), State Minister for Panchayat and Land Reforms, is locked with five cornered contest from 227, Narayangarh constituency. West Bengal Finance Minister, Shri Ashim Kumar Dasgupta CPI(M), is contesting along with others from 134, Khardah constituency. Seven candidates are in the fray from Khardah.

Shri Kamal Guha, All India Forward Bloc leader and former Minister is contesting from 7, Dinhata, where seven candidates are in the fray. Shri Kanti Ganguly CPI(M) is contesting from 123, Mathurapur in a six cornered contest. Shri Subrata Mukherjee, AITC, the Mayor of Kolkata Corporation is locked in ten cornered contest from 146, Chowringhee Constituency. All India Trinamool Congress leader, Shri Pankaj Banerjee is contesting 150, Tollygunge, where seven candidates are in the fray. Shri Somendra nath Dutra INC, ad the former WBPCC President is locked in a eight cornered contest in 156 Sealdah constituency. From 148, Alipore constituency film artist Tapas Paul from All India Trinamool Congress is locked in a nine cornered contest, while All India Trinamool Congress Shri Goverdan Chal is locked in a five cornered battle from 149, Rashbehari Avenue. Shri Saugata Roy, this time from AITC and Shri Kshiti Goswamy, RSP West Bengal Minister for Housing are locked in a seven cornered contest from 151, Dhakuria. Shri Manabendra Mukherjee, State Minister from Environment is contesting from 155, Beliaghata, where eight candidates are in the field.
