HINDI SALAHAKAR SAMITI OF YOUTH AFFAIRS & SPORTS MINISTRY MEETS
The Hindi Salahakar Samiti attached
to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports held its first meeting
here today. The meeting was Chaired by Minister Youth Affairs
and Sports Sushri Uma Bharati. The Minister said that Hindi is
not just a language but also a force binding the citizens of the
country together.
The Members of the Samiti suggested
that Hindi should be free from too many technicalities that have
crept into it. They put forward the view that simplification and
adoption of commonly used words from other languages will go a
long way in making the language more popular and comprehensible.
