PM GREETS PEOPLE ON MAHAVIR JAYANTI
The Prime Minister, Shri
Atal Bihari Vajpayee has greeted the people on the auspicious
occasion of Mahavir Jayanti tomorrow.
In a message, Shri Vajpayee
said that Lord Mahavir taught us to tread the noble path of ‘ahimsa’,
harmony and peace. May the cardinal principles of ‘ahimsa’, ‘satya’,
asteya (non-stealing) and ‘aparigraha’ (non-possession) as preached
by the great Tirthankar continue to guide us towards leading a
virtuous life based on right conduct, Shri Vajpayee added.
