NO PROPOSAL TO RE-IMPOSE LICENCE
FEE ON TV AND RADIO SETS
There is no proposal
to re-impose licence fee on television and radio sets. This was
stated by Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shri Ravi
Shankar Prasad in reply to a question by Shri D. N. R. Wadiyar
in Lok Sabha today.
To another question
by Shri Bhupendrasinh Solanki, the Minister said that Prasar Bharati
has no proposal to set up a channel related to spiritual programmes.
