KUDREMUKH BAGS 2001-2002 MoU AWARD
The Kudremukh
Iron Ore Company Ltd., (KIOCL), a Public Sector Undertaking of
the Ministry of Steel has bagged the "MoU Award" for achieving
the MoU Excellent Targets for the year 2001-02. The Award has
been conferred by the President of India through Ministry of Heavy
Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India. KIOCL
is being rated "Excellent" continuously for the past nine years.
A 100 per cent
export oriented, ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001 company, KIOCL carries
the status of Golden Star Trading House to its credit. Keeping
up with its tradition of mining in harmony with nature, KIOCL
has continued its massive afforestation efforts to preserve the
environment and ecology. It has evinced keen interest in promoting
social welfare and development activities in the adjoining rural
areas.
