DR. VENUGOPAL REDDY WILL BE THE
NEW RBI GOVERNOR
Dr. Y. Venugopal
Reddy will be the new Governor of Reserve Bank of India. The Appointments
Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment as RBI Governor
for a five year term in place of Dr. Bimal Jalan. Dr. Reddy who
is presently working as Executive Director, International Monetary
Fund (IMF) will take over after Dr. Bimal Jalan demits the office.
