MOBILE TRAIN COMMUNICATION
The Railways have
provided 5 watt Walkie Talkie sets to drivers and guards of all
trains to ensure effective and timely communication between Driver,
Guard and Station Master in order to improve safety of rail services
to the nation.
In addition,
25 watt VHF sets have been provided at all stations of broad gauge
double and multiple line sections.
