RAIL NEER
LOK SABHA
Rail Neer is being
made available at important Railway stations of Northern and North
Central Railways, from the Rail Neer plant at Nangloi, Delhi.
Rail Neer conforms
to the stringent norms set up by the Bureau of Indian Standards
(BIS). It further conforms to European norms for pesticides residues.
The plant is completely
owned by Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Ltd. (IRCTC) and
the equipment has been supplied by M/s Ion Exchange Ltd.
Rail Neer has been
tested and it conforms to the laid down standards of Bureau of
Indian Standards.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Shri G. Putta Swamy Gowda
in the Lok Sabha today.
