PM CONDOLES DEATH OF JOHNY WALKER
The Prime Minister,
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee has condoled the death of veteran comedian,
Shri Badruddin Jamaluddin Qazi, popularly known as Johny Walker.
In a message, Shri Vajpayee said that Shri Johny Walker was an
icon in the field of film comedy. His impeccable style and flawless
timing lent a new meaning and respectability to the genre of comedy
in Indian cinema, the Prime Minister said. His genius lay in portraying
even the most serious situations in life with his inimitable comic
touch, the Prime Minister added.
