FREE COMPLIMENTARY PASSES TO MISSIONARIES
AND INSTITUTIONS
LOK SABHA
All India complimentary
card passes are issued under discretionary powers of Minister
of Railways as per guidelines. No regional free passes are issued.
Complimentary care
passes are issued as per guidelines to organizations engaged in
social, cultural, educational, sports and welfare activities.
As a measure for
austerity and economy, no Complimentary Card Passes under discretionary
powers of Minister of Railways have been issued since November
15, 1999.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Shri Dalpat Singh Parste
in the Lok Sabha today.
