FREE FOOD FOR INFANTS IN RAJDHANI AND SHATABDI TRAINS
The Ministry of
Railways has directed the Zonal Railways to ensure provision of
baby food free of charge to infants below five years in Rajdhani
and Shatabdi Express trains.
The free food for
infants include branded baby food items and items covered in standard
menu like fresh fruit, bread, milk, biscuits and cornflakes .
In case of departmental
catering in these trains, the cost of the food will be borne by
railways and if the services are rendered by a private licensee
, the cost will be borne by such licensee with no reimbursement
by railways.
