ADDITIONAL AMOUNT PAID FOR DUPLICATE RAIL TICKETS

It has been decided
that the charges collected for issuing duplicate tickets, before
preparation of reservation chart, will be refunded at destination
station on completion of the journey upto three days after the
arrival of the train. This provision is applicable for duplicate
tickets issued on and after April 1, 2003.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Shri Manibhai Ramjibhai
Chaudhri in the Lok Sabha today.
