RAIL LINE BETWEEN RANCHI-HAZARIBAGH

Final location survey
for rail link between Ranchi and Hazaribagh has
been completed and work taken up.
In Phase I- Koderma-Hazaribagh
Town : Forestry clearance obtained for Koderma-Padma
section and work is in progress on stretches where land has been
made available. Forestry clearance of section between Padma-Hazaribagh
under process.
In Phase-II Hazaribagh-Barkakana:
Work started from Hazaribagh end. Forestry clearance is
under process.
In Phase-III:
Barkakana-Ranchi: Land acquisition is in progress.
The regular review
meetings are conducted with Zonal Railway.
The land acquisition
and forestry clearance is being chased with State Government.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Prof. Dukha Bhagat and Shri
Ram Tahal Chaudhary in the Lok Sabha today.
