EXPENDITURE ON COMMEMORATION OF 150 YEARS OF RAILWAYS
RAJYA SABHA
Railway rakes are
provided as per the indents registered with the Railways. From
December, 2002 to March, 2003The cumulative expenditure incurred
by Indian Railways an year long celebrations of 150 glorious years
of Railways in India was Rs. 790.27 lakhs comprising all Zonal
Railways.
This information
was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Bandaru Dattatraya
in a written reply to a question from Dr. Manda JagannathShri
Rajeev Shukla in the Lok Rajya Sabha today.
