SHRI SHASHANK APPOINTED FOREIGN SECRETARY

Shri Shashank, IFS of 1966 Batch has been appointed as the new Foreign Secretary. He will succeed Shri Kanwal Sibal, IFS (1966) who is retiring on November 30, 2003. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the appointment today.
