PUNCTUALITY PERFORMANCE OF TRAINS
EXCEEDS TARGET
The punctuality performance
of Mail and Express trains has exceeded the target during the
first half of the current fiscal year, ending September 2003.
Accordingly,
the punctuality on broad gauge was 91.4 per cent during the period,
as compared to the target of 90 per cent.
Similarly, the
punctuality of Mail and Express trains on metre gauge improved
to 97.4 per cent against the target of 95 per cent for the period.
