PRIME MINISTER MEETS PRESIDENT
The Prime Minister
Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee met the President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting lasted 50 minutes.
Apart from issues
of national importance, the two leaders also discussed various
aspects relating to the mission for the transformation of India
into a developed nation
and also the programme
for Providing Urban amenities in Rural Areas (PURA).
The Prime Minister
also briefed the President on his recent foreign visit.
