COMPUTERIZATION OF TICKETS REFUNDS
Indian Railways
have embarked upon computerization of Tickets Refunds all over
their network as a measure of greater customer satisfaction.
Computerized Tickets
Refunds have been implemented successfully on South Central Railway,
Secunderabad.
Under the relaxed
Refunds Rules, computerized Tickets Refunds will be hassle-free
and on the spot.
Computerized
Passenger Reservation System (PRS) is now available at 926 locations
covering about 97 per cent of total reservations.
The extension
of computerized Tickets Refunds all over the network will be a
milestone towards more user friendly rail services to the nation.
