HCL PRECIOUS METAL PRODUCTION UP
The precious metal
plant of the Indian Copper Complex, Ghatsila in Jharkhand State
has produced 179 kg. of gold during the first half of this fiscal
against 173 kg. during the same period last year. During the period
the silver production has also shown 12 per cent growth. The production
of silver has been 3207 kg. during these 6 months against 2954
kg. during the corresponding period of the previous year. Gold
and silver are two major bi-products of the copper plants.
