Ernesto is in his forties. So is Richards. The two decided to get together with their old neighbourhood friends of the late 1960s and early 70s. Their minds turn back to the adventures, misadventures, joys and sadness of a group which at the time had been inseparable, where love interests crisscrossed and so did some other things…the past is gradually recreated, a time when these young idealists dreamed utopias...

Wake Up Love harks back to a poem by the Uruguayan writer Mario Benedetti in his book Forgetfulness is Full of Memory (El Olvido est a Illeno de Memoria).
