Synopsis (Cinema of the World)

Simon Granderath has been found dead in his apartment.
His only daughter, Monika Besse, who lives in Luxembourg, arrives to arrange
the funeral and settle his estate.
She wishes to go back home to a nor mal life as quickly as possible. She soon realises, however, that she hardly know her father and tries to find out about him and his life.
The search for the identity of her father ends up by becoming a search for her own identity.

Andreas Gruber studied film at the Academy of Music

the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation. His recent films include award winning
works like Shalom General (1989), Erste Wahrnehmung (1991),
Hasenjagd Vor Lauter Feigheit gibt es kein Erbarmen (1994) and Das
verletzte Laecheln (1995).
