Synopsis  (Country : Sweden)

Truth or Dare

1997

The summer holidays are over and 12 year old Nora is back in school in a new class. Although life goes on, nothing is the same any more. Nora has entered those bewildering years when childhood is behind her and the turbulent teens start taking their toll. It is a world where peer pressure counts and secrets are hard currency. She slowly starts asserting herself, weaving in and out of various groups as defined by the dynamics of the class. In some ways, this is not a pretty story. Nora does not hesitate to resort to duplicity in order to gain popularity and affection. She simply does what most of us do: cover up her insecurities, often by ruthless means.
