Synopsis (Cinema of the World)

Vivacious, but under great stress from the struggle for survival, Eva works as a barmaid to support herself and her family her husband Luis, an unsuccessful artist, her son Florian and her daughter Rosa.
When she learns that her husband has run away to Venice with Charlotte, an elegant patron of the arts and banker, Eva does not waste a second. She kidnaps Charlottes husband, Nick, a famous and arrogant lawyer.
Her journey to Venice with the captive Nick and her children becomes an odyssey that completely changes the lives of all involved. Charlotte and Luis soon realise, in the truly romantic setting of Venice, that they have nothing to say to each other. Wild Eva turns out to be a discerning art and music connoisseur. Nick, an inhibited yuppie and hater of children, turns into a lovable character who wins a place even in the hearts of Florian and Rosa.
